Fantastic tour from Bangkok. Very much enjoyed seeing the Bhuda and the drive through the country side. The war cemetery and ride on the train through the Hellfire Pass were very interesting and enlightening.
But without a doubt the highlight was the elephant sanctuary. It was amazing being so close to these gentle giants. And spending time with them in the river was amazing.
A long day, but worth every minute.
Our guide and driver were excellent. I highly recommend this tour.
We had an amazing day out in kanchanaburi with the perfect team - Mas leading the day. Amazing experience soaking up culture, rich history, great food and Mas’s attention to all details. She was great with my parents and flexible in adjusting the day activities to suit my parents! Highly recommended and we cannot stop talking about the trip to friends and family!
My husband and I recently booked a private one day trip to Kanchanaburi through iDaytrip. Because my husband had already been to the Bridge on the river Kwai and Death Railway, I asked Pattara from iDaytrip to recommend something unique for the morning portion of our trip. Thanks to Mas, our guide and Sam, our driver we spent the morning in the ancient Nang Loy makes totally off the beaten path. We then visited the Manneewong Family at their 150 year old traditional home and learned about their culture, traditions and food preparation. We even shared in making Kai Pad Khing, Tofu soup and an amazing Thai dessert. This totally authentic experience was the highlight of our trips. The elephant haven was also a must do. I would highly recommend booking your next Bangkok tours through iDaytrip. They are very flexible, have amazing, passionate staff and deliver first rate service.
