A half-day journey to discover the canals of Bangkok by the long-tail boat and the local way of life at the water’s edge. See local houses, and people doing their daily chores, and beautiful temples along the canal before stopping at the Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun. Take a walk in this riverside Temple that glitters from thousands of porcelain fragments on its 79 meters Pagoda. Climb up top to get a great scenic view of Chao Phraya River and Bangkok Capital City.

Bangkok Canal Boat Tour
Head out to the Chao Phraya River to begin our canal exploration. Board the motorized Longtail boat and prepare the camera as we cruise along the canal line and discover life at the edge of the water. Bangkok was named "the Venice of East" with hundreds of canals crisscrossing throughout the capital. Life along the canals reflects the traditional way people of the city live before the modern construction of the road and the arrival of the motor car. Even now people still use the canal as in the past. They wash their clothes, dishes and even bathe in the canal.
Wat Arun, Temple of Dawn
Board on one of the most beautiful landmarks that sits beside the River of King, Wat Arun. The temple can be seen from afar with its pure white exterior, and unique pagoda. Wonder around the temple and take some photos. Wat Arun is a beloved destination for photographers and Instagrammers. Return to Hotel.

Shimmering Temples accompanied by a friendly, knowledgeable guide

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the temples and about the area. These were very unique temples unlike others we have seen.

Best in Bangkok!

I admit I was getting tired of visiting Wats. However, this was one of our last in Bangkok and I am SO happy we saw it. Absolutely the best! One of the guards also offered to take some pictures of me with my son, when he saw we were alone. Truly not to be missed!
